iPhone, iPad and Emote Waitlist
We are excited to announce that changes to TASA law allow FTRI to distribute FREE tablets and cellphones loaded with telecommunications apps
To help us prepare for a successful start to this new program, we are collecting information from Deaf, Deafblind, Hard of Hearing, and Speech Impaired Florida residents who are interested in receiving one of these new devices, when they are available.
Qualifications for iPhone, iPad, & Emote:
- Florida resident, over the age of 3
- Have hearing loss and/or speech disability
Income limits apply. Applicants must either:
Participate in a Qualifying Program:
- FL Medicaid
- SNAP
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance
(Section B) - Veterans Pension & Survivors Benefits
OR,
Have total income that does not exceed 250% of current Federal Poverty Level:
- $39,900 yr/household of one
- $54,100 yr/household of two
There is still no income limit for legacy landline equipment
